Kris+ has launched a new Birthday Bash promotion, which offers an additional 10 miles per S$1 at 40+ participating dining and retail merchants across Singapore for the month of October 2024.
Together with credit card miles, you’re looking at up to 14 mpd in total, plus other Kris+ exclusives such as discounted cash vouchers, or further savings on purchases.

When you tap the “Discover All 10 mpd Partners” button on the Kris+ app, it brings you to a list that includes Anthology, Cedele, Cherry and Oak, Cut Butchery, Dancing Crab, Kazo, Paris Baguette, and Toss & Turn. However, when you tap on these merchants, their earn rates have not been upsized to 10 mpd. Until we know better, I’m taking this as an error, and not including these names in the list above |
No registration is necessary, and there is no cap on the maximum miles you can earn under this promotion. The upsized rates should already be reflected in the Kris+ by default at participating merchants.
To earn miles at a Kris+ merchant, all you need to do is:
- Scan the merchant’s Kris+ QR code
- Enter the amount to be paid, and press “Pay” to pay via Apple/Google Pay
Don’t forget to transfer any KrisPay miles you earn to KrisFlyer within 21 days of the transaction, in their entirety. If you wait longer than 21 days, or spend any of the accrued miles, the balance will be stuck in Kris+ (where they expire after six months).
A big “Transfer to KrisFlyer” button appears after every transaction, so there’s no excuse!

What card should I use to pay?
Kris+ transactions code as online spend, and generally retain the same MCC as the underlying merchant (with some very limited exceptions).
The following cards are the safest to use, as they’re MCC-agnostic. So long as you transact on Kris+, you’ll earn up to 4 mpd, on top of the Kris+ miles.
